About the Recipe

The Vieux Carré , pronounced “VOO-kar-Aye”, is a classic NOLA cocktail.

Ingredients

  • ¾ oz Rye


  • ¾ oz Pierre Ferrand Cognac


  • ¾ oz Sweet Vermouth


  • ½ oz Benedictine Liqueur


  • 1-2 dashes of Angostura and Peychaud's Bitters 

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in mixing glass filled with ice. Stir well and strain into glass.
