About the Recipe

The Gin Sour recipe is very similar to the Gin Fizz and Tom Collins. The difference with the Sour is that it is served without soda and ice cubes, making it stronger.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Empress Elderflower Rose Gin


  • 1 oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed


  • 1 oz simple syrup


  • ½ oz  Ms. Better’s Bitters

Preparation

Step 1


Add the gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and Better’s Bitters into shaker with ice and vigorously dry-shake.

 

Step 2


Strain mix to remove ice. Then shake again with no ice for 30 seconds


Step 3


Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass.
