Decorate the frothy top with 3 to 5 drops of Angostura bitters.

About the Recipe

The Gin Sour recipe is very similar to the Gin Fizz and Tom Collins. The difference with the Sour is that it is served without soda and ice cubes, making it stronger.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Gin


  • 1 oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed


  • ½ ounce simple syrup


  • ½  Ms. Better’s Bitters

Preparation

Step 1


Add the gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and Better’s Bitters into shaker without ice and vigorously dry-shake.

 

Step 2



Add ice and shake again until well-chilled.

 

Step 3


Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
