About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Tanqueray Gin

  • 2-3 Basil leaves

  • “Dime size” piece of shaved ginger

  • 2 oz Ruby Red Grapefruit juice

  • 2-3 oz Tonic

Preparation

Step 1


Wipe glass with basil leaves before tearing and adding to cocktail shaker along with small sliver of peeled fresh ginger.



Step 2


Muddle basil and ginger to break it up.



Step 3


Add gin, tonic, and grapefruit juice and shake vigorously.



Step 4


Strain into glass with ice. Add tonic and stir.



Step 5


Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
