About the Recipe
Ingredients
2 Sugar Cubes
2 ½ oz Coffee
1 1/3 oz Irish Whiskey
1 oz Heavy Cream (36% Milkfat)
Preparation
Slightly fluff cream in a mixer and set aside. Fill glass with very hot water to pre-heat, let it sit to warm glass and then empty. Drop in sugar cubes. Pour hot coffee into glass until it is about three-quarters full. With small spoon, stir until the sugar is thoroughly dissolved. Add whiskey. Slowly pour the thickened cream over the back of a spoon to create the collar on the Irish coffee. It should float on top of the whiskey-coffee mixture.
